BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES IN TEXAS
PROVIDING TOOLS AND TRAINING
Children who have experienced trauma rely heavily on survival skills to get their needs met. These survival skills can result in emotional and behavioral outbursts that cause disruptions in their homes.
OUR PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Our primary goal is to support both caregivers and children by equipping them with effective, adaptive tools known as cognitive coping skills. Many children act out simply because they haven’t yet learned a healthier way to respond.
Our Behavioral Support Specialists work closely with children to teach and reinforce structured cognitive steps—helping them meet their needs without relying on reactive or emotionally driven behaviors.
This program is offered at no cost to families who qualify through the Texas Medicaid Program, and we also accept other insurance plans. Our team is happy to help determine eligibility and coverage.
OUR TRAINING AND RESOURCES
We use proven, evidence-based methods and materials to educate and equip both children and caregivers in the home.

THE NURTURING PARENT PROGRAM
This program is as much about an approach to parenting as it is about skill-building—centered on the belief that nurturing should be woven into every aspect of family life. Through structured, engaging sessions, caregivers learn positive discipline techniques, effective communication, and strategies for building strong, healthy relationships with their children.
