Connect Your Church
PROVIDING SUPPORT, SHARING RESOURCES.
The number of abused and neglected children is far too great for any one ministry to address alone. But God, in His wisdom, has called His people to make a lasting impact. Together, no other force has the heart, the hands, and the will to reach every child in need.

WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
There are many ways your church can make a difference in the life of a child rescued from abuse or neglect and the family that serves them. Here are just a few ideas for starters:
Provide practical help to foster families in your church: transport kids to appointments, provide babysitting, do a group house cleaning and yard work, provide a meal when a new child arrives at their home, etc.
Help us communicate the need for foster families, especially during Foster Care Awareness Month (May) and Adoption Month.
Provide support groups and relief care opportunities to foster and adoptive families in your own church.
Partner with us to host a Foster Parent Training, led by a Foster Parent Recruiter, and invite your members to join — the tools and insights provided will be valuable for all parents, not just those considering fostering.
Invite our foster care team to speak about the urgent need for more foster families.
Include a link on your website to www.arrow.org/meeting to invite visitors to join a live webinar and discover how they can make a difference through foster care.
Include foster care information on a pre-service slide or in a worship handout.
Make an impact by sponsoring a special event like a Christmas party, End-of-School celebration, Foster Parent Appreciation event, or other opportunities to celebrate and support our foster families.
Pray for the many children in foster care still waiting for a family, and for more hearts to answer the call.
