The Arrow Center for Education Mountain Road officially opened its doors on January 14 and the moment was nothing short of meaningful. Community members, staff and partners gathered to celebrate a space built with intention and filled with possibility.
The grand opening included several proclamations recognizing the impact this school will have on children and families for years to come, setting the tone for a day rooted in gratitude and shared purpose.
One of the most powerful moments came from a Mountain Road parent, who reminded everyone in the room that this school is not a luxury, but a necessity.
She spoke to the unique support the Arrow Center for Education Mountain Road provides, not just to students, but to entire families navigating critical seasons of life. Her words captured exactly why this work matters.
The celebration also gave Arrow the opportunity to thank the Dresher Foundation for their generous support, which helped make Mountain Road a reality. Their investment reflects a belief in education, stability and long term impact.
Staff from across the organization were in attendance, many of whom played a role in bringing this vision to life. Executive Director Audrey Wanga delivered a moving speech that kicked off the ceremony with heart.
“What began as a small program, grew into something so powerful,” Wanga said. “We saw progress, we saw students thrive in ways that reminded us why this work matters so deeply.”

The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation for the many project partners who helped build the school from the ground up, including contractors, architects and designers, along with a sincere thank you to supporters, staff and community members who continue to champion Arrow’s mission.
Mountain Road stands as more than a building. It is a promise to children and families and a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with purpose.
