The Impact

Traditional Foster Care provides a safe, nurturing home for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Becoming a foster parent may sound overwhelming, but most people are surprised to learn that the basic requirements are very achievable.

During our informational meeting, we’ll walk you through the full list, but generally, you’ll need to be financially stable without relying on the foster care stipend, have a home that meets space and safety standards, pass a background check, complete pre-service training, and go through a Home Study evaluation.

These steps ensure that every child is placed in a home ready to provide the care, stability, and support they deserve.
