Respite is intended to give families a break from the daily struggles of dealing with a child suffering from a diagnosis, which causes stress on the whole family. Respite should be used to reduce the risk of out of home placement, while at the same time, allowing the child to remain in their own community, further reducing stress on the family.
• For families with an at-risk child (age 5-18) with distressing mental health issues
• Must be in active treatment with a Licensed Therapist
• Respite is provided by licensed Treatment Foster Homes to ensure safety and stability”
