Arrow’s Senior Vice President of Maryland Programs, Jennifer McGlothlin-Renault, and Tracey Coleman, Director of Community Engagement, were proud to join WBAL’s T.J. Smith on Wednesday, Feb. 11, for a dynamic conversation about the work happening across Maryland.
They shared how Arrow is serving families through the Arrow Center for Education Schools, in Baltimore City and surrounding areas through Family-Centered Treatment and the urgent need for foster families through Treatment Foster Care.
During the segment, Coleman and McGlothlin-Renault explained how Family-Centered Treatment helps stabilize families and youth in crisis and helps divert children from entering the Department of Juvenile Services. They also emphasized that for children, especially those with higher behavioral or emotional needs, compassionate and well-supported foster families are essential.
The conversation not only elevated the critical needs in our community but also expanded awareness for Arrow and the life-changing services we provide.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and advocate for children and families on such a meaningful platform with T.J. Smith.
