As Chief Development Officer, Ophelia Bennett leads Development, Marketing and Communications. Ophelia joined Arrow in February of 2026. Ophelia is a nationally experienced development and nonprofit executive with more than three decades of leadership experience spanning nonprofit management, advancement and institutional strategy. As a first-generation college graduate who grew up in foster care, she brings both lived experience and executive expertise that uniquely position her to advance Arrow’s mission.
Ophelia has held senior leadership roles with Habitat for Humanity, Christian Appalachian Project, Tarrant County College District, Help Heal Veterans, Trinity Valley Community College and most recently the Texas A&M Foundation. Ophelia’s vision for Arrow includes building a development, marketing and communications enterprise that reflects the strength, dignity and hope of the children and families served.
Ophelia has a reputation of building high-performing, collaborative teams and translating complex priorities into clear, actionable strategies that support long-term growth.
Ophelia lives in Magnolia, TX with her husband and granddaughter, Gianna.
