Arrow Clinical Specialist Earns Advanced Neurosequential Model Certification

Arrow Child and Family Ministries is celebrating a major professional milestone for Clinical Development Specialist Brianna Cartwright.

Cartwright officially achieved her Phase 1 Certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, a specialized clinical framework that focuses on the intersection of biology and healing.

This accomplishment represents an immense investment of time and focus, with requirements often mirroring the intensity of a master’s level education. Cartwright pursued this goal while balancing her daily responsibilities, which include representing the organization at national conferences and providing extensive clinical consultation hours.

With this new certification, she is now equipped to apply brain-based assessments and interventions that better identify a child’s specific developmental stage.

Her journey with the agency began in 2022 when she joined the Behavioral Health Services team as a clinical supervisor. Into late 2024, she transitioned into the clinical development department to help expand and elevate the organization’s overall therapeutic impact.

Cartwright brings a rich foundation of trauma-informed care to the team, including expertise in the Safe and Sound Protocol. These specialized skills are now being integrated into foster care and behavioral health programs across Texas to help children with complex needs.

The Phase 1 certification allows for highly individualized care that addresses the root causes of challenging behaviors.

Arrow congratulates of Cartwright and is thankful for her relentless dedication to the children and families she serves. This level of expertise ensures that the agency continues to provide the most advanced, trauma-informed care possible.
