This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Jennifer McGlothlin-Renault, Senior Vice President of Maryland Programs and via phone by Paul Hughey, Senior Director of Facilities at Arrow Child and Family Ministries from their National Headquarters in Houston to talk about Arrow’s mission and their 2026 Day of Service: Painting Brighter Futures at The Arrow Center for Education located in Hunt Valley on June 27th designed to completely revitalize the campus.
Through their five specialized schools, right here in Maryland, Arrow offers a unique blend of special education and deep emotional support that aims to strengthen families and communities. The teachers, one-to-one aides, counselors, speech pathologists and other staff are the faces behind the life-changing work that happens each day, but that work relies heavily on the community stepping up to wrap its arms around the students Arrow serves. On June 27th there is a perfect opportunity to get involved with Arrow’s Day of Service-a full refresh to the school with fresh paint in different areas, physically transforming the environment to show students how much they are valued as individuals.
